I've never seen a really great tbf guide. Most guides use outdated information and training techniques.

Step 1. Your pc must support the ability to maintain a constant 250 frames per second (fps). The reason I say 250fps is animations are performed fastest at this fps rate.

Step 2. You must use right click. ( Shift is simply not fast enough to compare to right click. A Right-click based tbfer has the potential to be literally 10x faster than a shift-based tbfer)

Step 3. Now that we have the initial steps out of the way, it's time to find training spots. Everyone knows about the roof in town, and the spot below the roof in town for training dbf. However, in private servers there's a map called dojo. At the highest point in the map, there are 3 lamps that have enough room for you to stand under. I recommend training here until you can dbf atleast 5 out of 10 times. (This spot is as low as you can get while still being able to dbf. It increases your speed to the true limit)

Step 4. As you all know, the average tbfer stands no chance against a gladiator. That's where this step comes in. Learn dash cancelling. Dash cancelling is literally what it sounds like. You dash and cancel it. This is performed by inputting the following commands (Jump slash block slash block dash slash block then hold one of the 4 follow keys W A S D. This will stall your character out and allow you to perform tbf angling.

Step 5. Always mix it up. Don't rely solely on tbf. Do dbfs, groundslashes, etc., but know when to execute Tbf. The best time to execute tbf is of course after a massive or a recoil, but with practice you learn to predict what move a player's going to make, which allows you to tbf.

Step 6. Tbf in short bursts. Tbf is easy to recoil, so don't tbf for more than 3 jumps.

Step 7. Experiment. Find combos that feel comfortable to you, and learn how to execute them with precision.

That's all you need in order to be successful at tbfing. The rest of it comes down to you.

(Note: The Dojo map is in the private server freestyle gunz. fgunz.net is the site name)

Thanks man. I tried not to go too in depth with it, it's really unnecessary. It's as simple as increasing your speed and learning control.

Good :). This guide guarantees you to be a good tbfer, as long as you keep practicing.

If you use shift you can't really use tbf. Shift is 10x slower (literally) than right click.

lol, im sure you do tbf fine with shift, but it's not going to be fast enough for effectiveness in combat.
